My daughter looked a bit subdued, even a little depressed coming out of the test, so I though maybe she was frustrated. Turns out she was more likely bored.

She said the test was *too* simple. I asked how many got right and she said "all of them" including the math and reading questions.

So that evening I asked if she's ready for another test (gifted is next week), and she said only if it's harder, this one was too easy - lol.

I guess I would expect the test to be easy, this is the first "paper" selective enrollment test and it's for kids who have had only a few months of Kindergarten, some only half days. But I didn't think the test would bore her so much.

I do suspect she will find the gifted test more challenging.
