I just read the article. It really is interesting and a lot more of us should take the time to read it.
I don't understand it either. I think that with the popularity of these schools and the price of tuition, they should open more so there aren't any waiting lists and the schools could make more money.
Skinner North did rate highly. I am not so sure about the scoring process though. It should have been divided better into more categories.

Yes, Edison is one of the only peanut free schools in chicago, most of them only have restrictions.
How did this turn out? I would have jumped on Edison right away and figure out logistics later. It is such a good opportunity. Which did you choose?
I am all for it and I think many students can benefit from it no matter how young they are.
