About the Friends of the 46th Ward Schools

The Friends of the 46th Ward Schools is a nonprofit group of parents and community members in the 46th Ward. Schools located in the 46th Ward include Greeley Elementary, Brennemann Elementary, Stewart Elementary, Stockton Elementary, McCutcheon Elementary, and Uplift High School. Friends of the 46th Ward Schools seeks to enhance quality public education opportunities for students in the 46th Ward by facilitating community participation in public education, improving communication between schools, parents, and community members, and by seeking resources to support the education of our community’s children. We are looking for like-minded individuals who would like to make a positive difference in assisting us in this mission.
